PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy provides information on the personal data we collect from our clients and the purposes for which we use it. We always process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

 

This privacy policy has been prepared in compliance with the obligations under Article 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC).

4. Purpose and Legal Basis of Personal Data Processing

We collect personal data that is necessary, relevant, and essential for the performance of assignments and marketing purposes. The processing of personal data is based on the client relationship between Evo Partners Oy and the client, client consent, the assignment itself, or other legitimate interest.

Personal data is used for the following purposes:

I. Organizing assignments, managing the client relationship, planning and executing assignments, and allocating actions required for each assignment.

II. Conducting marketing and communications.

III. Risk management and prevention of misuse.

IV. Compliance with statutory obligations.

The data controller does not perform profiling based on personal data. Automated decision-making is not used.

5. Personal Data Processed

The register may include: first and last name, address, phone number, email address, personal identification number, nationality, ownership details, position within a company, other financial information, client relationship correspondence (including emails and call records), and invoicing information.

6. Sources of Data

Personal data is primarily collected directly from the individual or the contact person of a client company.

Information on contacts at companies or other organizations may also be collected from public sources such as public registers, directories, and websites.

7. Disclosure and Transfer of Data

Personal data is not routinely or randomly disclosed or transferred outside Evo Partners Oy unless required by law.

8. Data Retention Period

Data is retained only as long as necessary to manage the assignment. Thereafter, data related to assignments, including client personal data, is retained for five years following the conclusion of the assignment.

9. Rights of the Data Subject

As a data subject, you have the following rights regarding your personal data held by us:

I. Right of Access: You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we hold about you.

II. Right to Rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data. Requests for review or correction must be submitted in writing to the data controller, and you must be able to reliably verify your identity.

III. Right to Erasure: You may request deletion of your personal data in the following circumstances:

  1. The data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, and no other legitimate reason exists for its retention.

  2. Processing is based on consent, and you withdraw your consent, with no other lawful basis for processing.

  3. You object to the processing, and no legitimate grounds exist to continue processing.

  4. The data has been processed unlawfully.

However, you do not have the right to have data deleted if Evo Partners Oy is legally required to retain it.

IV. Right to Object to Processing for Direct Marketing: You may always object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

V. Right to Lodge a Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority if you believe that we have not processed your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. In Finland, the competent authority is the Data Protection Ombudsman (www.tietosuoja.fi).

10. Data Security

All personal data is treated as confidential.

We have appropriate technical and organizational measures in place to ensure the security of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage. Access to personal data is limited to our employees and carefully selected service providers as necessary.
